WASHINGTON, D.C. - On Friday, February 15, American Red Cross of the National Capital Area staff and volunteers delivered two shelter-ready trailers to the Unified Communications Center on Martin Luther King Avenue in Southeast, DC. The trailers, stocked with supplies used in the event of a natural or man-made disaster, are two of 48 trailers purchased with funding from the UASI (Urban Area Security Initiative) Grant.
