Deloitte's IMPACT Day with the Red Cross

The National Capital Region participated in Deloitte’s IMPACT Day on June 10, 2011. IMPACT Day is an annual service celebration of Deloitte's commitment to community involvement. This year, IMPACT Day included: canvassing neighborhoods with fire safety information, a customer relations workshop and Salesforce software training for Red Cross paid and volunteer staff.

 

Deloitte and its employees engaged in fire safety canvassing, fully supporting their volunteer efforts by distributing 6,000 fire safety door hangers and key safety information in Prince George’s County, MD, Southeast D.C. and their own neighborhoods. The customer relations workshop introduced important customer service materials, including a Customer Service Quick Reference Guide and Front Desk Standard Operating Procedures. These valuable tools will assist our office volunteers in providing excellent service to our community. Deloitte also conducted a training in Salesforce, a new software tool utilized by the Financial Development Department that helps to track donor information and contributions made to the American Red Cross.
