Special Event - Celebrating Those Who Serve Our Community, Our Nation, Our World, Our Red Cross

On April 21, 2009 the American Red Cross of the National Capital Area hosted a special reception event Celebrating Those Who Serve Our Community, Our Nation, Our World, Our Red Cross. This event honored key partners, current and past supporters, who generously volunteer their time and talents to help fulfill the Red Cross mission.

 

 

 


Among special guests were the Honorable Frank Keating, former Governor of Oklahoma, and his wife, Cathy Keating.

  

 

More special guests included members of the Armed Forces and their families.

 

Former U.S. Congressman, JC Watts, founder and chairman of JC Watts Companies, emceed this special event reception.

 

Guest speakers included Major Michelin Y. Joplin.
