'Wilderness First Aid'

This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to enable participants to make decisions about emergency care in wilderness settings, including patient protection, protection of other members of the party, care of injuries for extended periods of time while waiting for rescuers, and simple evacuation techniques. This course expands upon the techniques learned in the American Red Cross First Aid Basics course.

Participants are encouraged to bring the equipment they would take for an outdoor weekend, in order to make a more realistic setting for the practice scenarios.
Recommended Requirements:
An Adult CPR or above course in the past 12 months.
Due to the serious of the course a minimum age of 15 is recommended.
