Study shows volunteering improves health!
|
Step 1 |
Determine if the American Red Cross of the National Capital Area is a good fit for you by completing a volunteer self-assessment. |
|
Step 2 |
Attend a volunteer orientation during the day or evening at one our Chapter locations. Register online for an upcoming volunteer orientation. |
|
Step 3 |
At the orientation you will complete a volunteer application and will review current volunteer opportunities that may match your interests and availability. |
| Step 4 |
Your application is sent to the department(s) of interest. That department will then contact you to schedule an interview and/or training for the position you are interested in. |
| Step 5 |
You are now a volunteer! Once you and the department both agree that a position is a good placement, you become an official registered volunteer and begin your rewarding career with the American Red Cross! |
